![]() | I started being part of the school choir at the age of 10 years-old. My voice was soprano and I enjoyed singing for festivals and the school's events. When I turned 13 years-old, I started learning guitar by myself. In September of 1984 I grabbed a book to learn simple chords and melodies. In December same year I had the opportunity to play in front of my school 2 easy songs (3 chords) Later, I got a scholarship to learn guitar. |
| 1988 -1989 I lived in Santa Cruz, Bolivia where I could play guitar and be a missionary for Campus Crusade for Christ. In 1989 I traveled to Asuncion Paraguay where I had some performances. In Foz do Iguacu, Brazil I fell in love with Bossa Nova style. 1990-1998 I played guitar just for Church's activities. 2001-2005 I played contemporary music at my local church. 2003-2006 I started a Music school at my local church with support of the Peninsula Foundation. I was teaching voice, guitar and piano lessons for children and teenagers. 2007-2009 I joined a Latino band playing in SF. 2010 I started my own band named "Vivi & Los Gitanos" 2008 to present - I work as a guitar teacher for Myriad Music School 2011 Under a new project playing Bossa Nova and Rumba. |
